1995 was the year of the second studio album for many hip-hop acts, mostly from the West Coast, and many disappointed in comparison to the debut. Among the others, also the Cold World Hustlers of San Francisco.
The production, performed by T.C., The Enhancer, Reg, E-Sic and Cold World Hustlers, appears inaccessible for the first twenty minutes, then the mobb soul of the record emerges and the samples placate a drum that seemed to be relentless and burdensome: the best music is present in the middle, then collapses again and has a new peak with the final beat.
Big Vic and E-Sic spit gangsta stanzas along with several guests, often not credited, such as 4-1-So Sic Ass Rell, Maine-O, Taydatay, One Tyme, K-Love, Mac-10, Female Fonk, 11-5, UDI, Jeffrow, Charles Baxter, OG Kevi Kev, TC, Chill, Cougnut and Dre Dog. Composed of 57 minutes divided into 15 tracks, the album is released by the local Black Market Records and gets a Priority distribution: there's a decent rap, but the music is qualitatively uneven and, overall, the product is inferior to the debut. 5.5/10.
