UFO Fev & Big Ghost Ltd. — The Ghost of Albizu

Big Ghost LTD is one of the fittest producers of the last five years and brings out his album number fifteen, the fifth of the season, in collaboration with the latest emerging rapper from New York, Anthony "UFO Fev" Ortiz, who in the same year he has already published with Statik Selektah and Termanology.

The project consists of 10 songs for just under 35 minutes and is pretty amazing: on the rhythms of Big Ghost, UFO Fev looks like another person compared to the interpreter of the records made with Statik and Termano, here he's confident, precise, concentrated, he boasts a light and smoothness flow, at times energetic, inspired, he impresses positively. The production is fantastic, Big Ghost delivers ten splendid jazzy soundscapes with excellent fresh samples, horns, pianos, guitars, melodic female soul samples, and a slow pounding drum that levels everything. The album is short and compact, also thanks to punctual guests such as Red Inf, Zandra Kaye, Nems, Mooch, Eddie Kaine, Rim and Ty Farris. Recommended to East Coast and boom bap fans.

Highlights: "Got a Feelin", "Dxngxr", "Broken Promises / 1000 Blessings", "Today's Math" (dope strings, dope flow), "Demigods" (flow-killer of Eddie Kaine).

Rating: 7.5/10.
