Collaborative extended play between Bronx-born DJ and producer Ray West and Brooklyn-born rapper OC. The record is released under Ray West own label Red Apples 45 and distributed by Fat Beats.
Introductory skit, then essential jazzy rhythm, snapping, minimal drum machine, good smooth and technically clean delivery by Omar Credle, he looks fit in what sounds like one of the top moments here. "Have Fun" has a syncopated, slow, functional hook, decent delivery of the DITC rapper, he delivers pretty gray, flat production, O.C. doesn't appear inspired here. The next cut presents a cheerful and lively jazzy rhythm, lively and inspired delivery which here drops hardcore, functional chorus. "Go Back" has a light and tight jazzy rhythm, simple, circular, with minimal and sparse drum machine, good flowing delivery by the DITC affiliated rapper Milano, decent delivery of AG perhaps inspired here, hook left to beat + female soul sample looped tight in background, O.C. doesn't participate and therefore leaves room for the two guest rappers.
"Lovers" has a simple, tight, circular light jazzy rhythm, decent delivery, soul sample looped in the background for the hook. Credle lets the beat breathe in "Breaking Rules", simple, essential jazzy boom bap realized by the beatmaker Menocal (uncredited here), with a soulful female sample looped in background, vibes rock, O.C. smooth delivery, simple chorus. A tightly looped male neo-soul sample in the background opens the next track, simple and tight jazzy boom bap, minimal drum machine, dark lines in background, good Credle smooth delivery, functional chorus. The tape is closed by a light, jazzy, tight, simple production, syncopated and sparse drum machine in the background, fresh and decent O.C. delivery, functional hook. 6.5/10.
