There was a time when more than one listened to Slim Thug. And the Boss Hogg were something. Yes. There was.
Today I would say that that time is gone, Slim tries to spit something that looks like words with his friend Killa Kyleon, but neither of them manages to churn out half a song that is decent. Lazy half-hour effort, really lazy, made up entirely of generic tracks, the trap rhythms are accessible and light and the deliveries pretty random, without energy. Nice one the casual g-funk variation in "Bho 2020" with Mr. Lee. I don't know why or who to recommend this kind of mixtape release: I ignore Kyleon's discography — and after this tape I'll keep doing it, there's nothing here to invite me to dig it — Slim did better, before. Much earlier. But that's another story. Not recommended.
Rating: 4/10.
