Collaborative album between rapper KAAN and producer Big Ghost LTD, on its fourth album this season.
Composed of 10 tracks for a total of just over half an hour of listening, the tape is close to being the best released in the rapper's career: KAAN offers competent lyrics with a dynamic, often rapid flow and a smooth, fluid and confident delivery style. He's clearly inspired by a commendable soundscape made by one of the best producers to emerge on the East Coast in recent years, Big Ghost LTD doesn't miss anything [again] and offers ten excellent boom bap rhythms composed of solid midtempo and downtempo drums and an excellent choice of melodic samples, sometimes ethereal, with brilliant loops of electronic pianos, flutes, saxes, pianos, violins and melodic synths. The two artists maintain a high level of quality in each track, which is why it's difficult to choose a song that stands out from the others, probably, when the production slows down in "Apparations", the duo finds its best result. Recommended for boom bap enthusiasts, KAAN & Big Ghost did a nice job.
