First EP produced by Darkim Be AllahChrist (A.I.G.), rapper affiliated with Killa Beez. The tape is entirely produced by Darkim, with the exception of the last track, whose beat is provided by White Lotus. Bolo, Bronwsville Kbar, Allah Real and School of the Gifted (Rubbabands, Solomon Childs & Shaka Amazulu the 7th) are the guests of the tape.
A girl opens on light boom bap, good samples, organ in the background, slow drum. "Same Shit, Same Hood (Remix)" has a similar beat to the previous one, with honest drum machine, decent samples and a decent slow delivery of Darkim. The next choice boasts a dirty drum, decent samples and an honest jazzy boom bap, the rapper continues to deliver bars with a slow style. "Statistics" has good jazzy rhythm, slow and dirty drum, decent samples, good delivery. School of the Gifted liven up the project on track number five: jazzy boom bap, looped organ in the background, tight skinny drum, Darkim's decent slow delivery.
Rubbabands, the first guest on the tape, has an honest style, but I wouldn't say superior to the main rapper. Solomon Childs boasts a quiet, slow and flowing style, then the joint is closed by Shaka Amazulu, with a slow and jarring rapping, he sounds raw like RZA. Bolo & Brownsville Kbar are the guests of the following track, on decent jazzy boom bap, with dirty and slow drum machine. The interlude of a girl on a dirty drum leads to the final choice, "Breath of Life": jazzy boom bap with violin sample, dirty drum, honest and slow delivery of Darkim, in a track that boasts the posthumously sung hook of Allah Real, a singer affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan who died in 2018.
Honest EP distributed by Black Stone of Mecca, Darkim delivers with slow style over jazzy skeletal beats, maybe Solomon Childs has the best rapping performance in the project. 6/10.
