Second studio album for Polo G, rapper from Chicago, Illinois, settled in California.
His album falls flat, but it's an improvement on his horrific debut: the production is consistently mediocre, there's the same rhythm practically throughout the album, these twenty different amateur beatmakers manage to create all similar melodic rhythms on which this dude spits generic bars with a lazy and bland rapping style. He's not mumble, but he's not far from mumble, and his lyrics are decent at best.
Among the best songs are "Heartless" by and with Mustard and "Wishing for a Hero" with BJ the Chicago Kid, which boasts the beat of 2Pac's "Changes", faster delivery by the trapper and ample space for the soul hook of the guest. The spots of NLE Choppa and Lil Baby are good. Bloated and exhausting trap disc of 50 minutes, the performer proves to have little personality even in his most catchy songs: somehow, he gets great commercial success all over the world, in addition to critical praise, who, blinded by these platinum certifications, see him as the next trap star. Not recommended, it's a funny title for a dude that probably will be forgotten in a couple of years.
Rating: 4.5/10.
