This is a tape that gets better with every listen. At first it seems like just an effort like the others released in the same period, but it just takes a little more time to appreciate it.
Thirteen tracks, twelve different producers, eleven guests, three solo choices. Behind the keyboards the guys create a cohesive and resistant set, Hus raps concentrated together with some of the hottest names of the underground circuit, cooking one of his most elegant efforts. "Crowns" with MAV is the culmination of the album, then released on vinyl the following year by Lowtech, Austrian label that releases the projects of underground rappers from the United States on vinyl like similar European labels, such as Copenhagen Crates in Denmark, de Rap Winkel in the Netherlands, Tuff Kong in Italy, Air Vinyl in Germany, and so on. Also among the beatmakers are Stoupe and Nicholas Craven, the latter comes with a rhythm that goes away without leaving a mark even after repeated listens and this rarely happens. On a side note, I've spent hours trying to figure out in which crime movie I heard those synth keys sampled by Hus in "Serial Numbers" and I still haven't figured it out. 7/10.
