YoungBoy Never Broke Again — Top

Second studio album by Kentrell DeSean Gaulden aka YoungBoy Never Broke Again, rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There are 42 names behind the keyboards, Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg are the only guests.

First on the pop chart, certified platinum a year after release, the product is received better by critics than by the particularly attentive trap audience, who have noticed a number of similarities between the NBA YoungBoy record and that of Roddy Rich released the year before. I haven't listened to Roddy Rich's LP and I'm not going to do it any time soon, but it's pretty clear that even the cover alone is very similar. The young trapper provides materialistic and gangsta lyrics with little inventiveness for almost an hour, realizing pieces that sound all the same, on music that is simply not good or decent, because these guys put together bad, cheap and shoddy beats. 3/10.
