Chunk is the first rapper to emerge from East Palo Alto, Bay Area. He brings out a decent debut album, without too many ups and downs, regular and violent: thematically, it approaching the West Coast gangsta, while the production is simplistic, skinny and slow, the drum machine relaxes here in the midst of the funky sound chosen by Marcus McKinley aka C-Funk in production. The (uncredited) guests are C-Funk, Sean T, Gangsta G and MC Kong. Despite some guessed samples and funny lyrics, the album distributed by San Franscisco Bay Area label Tandem Records never makes the leap in half an hour and sells few copies.
