Barsha lands in the game from Brooklyn with one of the worst covers of the year, and one of the least fantasy titles ever.
I don't know under what strange agreement, through the Bumrush label (sub-label of First Priority Music), the disc is distributed by Virgin Records, but it doesn't sell too many copies. The rapper's lyrics are less explicit than the title wants you to believe, sometimes it falls into hardcore or sexual lyrics, but for the most part it revolves around braggadocio and related themes, with a slow syncopated rapping style, sometimes deep, faster delivery and flowing than usual with which it sounds better.
The production is made by Audio Two and by King of Chill, not really the best in the game: they bring out simple and minimal funky rhythms, tight and skeletal, rarely fresh ("Internal Affair", "Pick Up the Pieces"), beats on which Barsha adapts easily without extracting classics or making too many mistakes, he sounds good, the album is quite regular as well as forgettable.
Rating: 6/10.
