Compilation number II for Jeffrey Harper, aka Idontknowjeffery, rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. 33 minutes, 11 short songs, this sort of LP, which is actually a compilation with the addition of some unreleased tracks, includes a good set of solid beats and average hardcore bars from the rapper.
Overall, it's an irregular effort, it has a decent track before a just enough one, and this guy's flow can be fine for a fifteen-minute tape, twenty at most, not too long. His lyricism is focused mainly on braggadocio, with random insults, random misogyny, random thug lines, random pro-drug bars. The production is another level compared to the lyrics, there are great dark and obscure and tense rhythms, with good samples and a pattern of drums that includes two on each track, a snare drum in the background and a slower and more prominent pounding one, which here it definitely worked for at least half the disc, dropping in the second part under bad samples, confused and noisy rhythms and wrong drum patterns, but the lyrics sink the project towards mediocrity. "Stripper Ones" has the best beat of the edition, with a splendid dark and dope piano sample. 5/10.
