Lord Lord continues his unstoppable run and reaches his eleven project this season.
After the intro, jazzy boom bap with slow scarce pounding drum machine and decent samples, in which the rapper delivers with his slow and flowing style, Zaza God is the first guest of the tape, in "Roc to the X": dark jazzy rhythm and lo-fi, good host delivery, Flee Lord slightly better than him. The third choice boasts a dark and energetic jazzy boom bap rhythm, with good bleak samples and a slow drum. Westside Gunn lights up this tape with Griselda flame in "Cut It 3x", jazzy boom bap with tight looped dark sample, Buffalo rapper's syncopated dope delivery, squeaky hook and adlibs, Flee Lord closes in a slower style. The next song boasts good jazzy rhythm, great samples, vibrant lean drum and hardcore bars.
"Westcoastin'" is one of the best tracks: great samples, jazzy beats, smooth delivery by Flee Lord, Griselda style adlibs on the hook, fast delivery, smooth dope by T.F., which kills the track. A long skit over jazzy rhythm follows, before "Payin' Bill with Cocaine", jazzy cut with good samples, a light drum and an inspired delivery by the rapper from Queens. Conway the Machine is the guest in "Doors Locked", a jazzy production with a good sample, Flee Lord and Conway spit their lines, but they don't destroy this rhythm. Another skit follows, with jazzy boom bap and frantic drum. G4 Jag is the last guest of the tape in "Broke n Still Lyin'", splendid soundscape thanks to a wonderful sample, lean and slow drum, raw and dark slow delivery of G4 Jag, Flee Lord closes the cut with a solid style, before the final outro.
Honest tape for Flee Lord with 12 choices and 32 minutes, longer duration than usual: Griselda rappers don't kill their tracks as expected, bringing out lesser-known rappers such as TF and G4 Jag, who provide high-level performances.
Highlights: "Skinny Pete in a Dutch", "Top Back Chipa Lit", "Westcoastin'", "Doors Locked", "Broke n Still Lyin'".
