Second collaborative album between LA producer DJ Muggs and New Jersey rapper Crimeapple, following the success achieved with "Medallo" (2019).
Muggs is on his eighth job over the course of the season, the rapper releases his third album in the year. In these thirteen tracks, over forty minutes of material, DJ Muggs provides an honest and acceptable selection, never memorable, while Crimeapple spits bars without the excitement of the past, a little on autopilot: this is far from the best effort of both, is inferior to "Medallo", and there aren't enough guests to carry the tape to the end. In the first ten minutes it seems that it could join the best releases of Crimeapple, and Stove God Cooks continues not to disappoint, then the tape drops in intensity. 6.3/10.
