Three years after their last album, Digital Underground are back to releasing something after freeing themselves from their contract with Tommy Boy. The guests are Saafir, Numskull of Luniz, The Black Spooks, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Luniz and Kenya Gruv.
The concept of the record is ingenious and pioneering: the listener enters a video game, which is not really a video game you would want to play, and the concept is explored more in the insert sold with the album than in the project itself. Produced by D-Flow with good live instrumentation, the group's fourth LP maintains the Parliament-inspired funk sound and light-hearted lyrics about partying and sex, becoming quite similar to the previous ones, which makes it a slow and useless listen, although there is no bad track. Published by Critique and Radikal, distributed by BMG, the tape obtained acclaim from critics and a lukewarm response from the public. Ultimately, not recommended, 4/10.
