Excellent boom bap NY production of a Showbiz returned in shape that supports the underground rapper Milano, which was underestimated until yesterday for this DITC record.
Those who listened to the Diggin' in the Crates Crew material were able to appreciate or not the discreet performances — almost never above average — of this affiliated. In this D.I.T.C. jewel, Show brings out some of his best jazzy beats, providing a light and calm musical carpet that Milano Constantine appreciates by playing the best in his career.
"Tears" is among the highlights of the CD, splendid boom bap jazzy on which Milano delivers smoothness, technical, mastering an excellent flow. "Champion Sound" is up there with a soulful jazzy rhythm that clearly shows the union between good production and good delivery. A step below "The Gospel", on an anthological and gloomy jazzy beat of Show, and "Chips", where the veteran beatmaker tries to modernize his rhythm with a glossy production.
Recommended to D.I.T.C. fans: it's a little gem that deserves a couple of spins.
Rating: 6.5/10.
