Brotha Lynch Hung — The Turnmanator EP

Strangely mistreated, musically it's not as bad as it seems from the outside, but lyrically what can you expect from Brotha Lynch Hung? He continues to do his thing and say his thing, he remains faithful to the horrorcore without much hesitation.

After the frightening introductory skit on a dark and heavily dark rhythm, the rapper starts dropping more or less ultra-fast bars on dark jazzy rhythms and generic traps. The pulsating boom bap that accompanies the left piano of "Youz a Succa" composes an interesting dark jazzy rhythm, but the deliveries of the two performers aren't stimulating. Curious also the choice to place a female soulful sample looped ethereal in the background and with ample freedom on the chorus (not interpreted) of the fourth song, accompanied by dope arches and by an almost imperceptible piano, while the rhythm is simple trap. The skinny and heavy hardcore rhythm of "The Burn" is less interesting, while Twisted Insane is the only noteworthy guest because of his ultra-fast shots that liven up "Fire". Closes an outro about the COVID.

The rapper played for twenty minutes with his style, having fun when his typical beats arrived, but it's not an album in any case essential. 5/10.
