For several years now, Rudy Morgan has been keeping the DITC name warm by publishing material under the name Milano Constantine.
In the last days of 2020, he releases his second project of the season, an 11-track 40-minute studio album in collaboration with BodyBagBen, which produces the project and participates in the album with some rapping contributions. The beatmaker raises a dust made of simple and minimal jazzy boom baps, slow and thumping drums and good samples, while Milano spits bars inside it with a regular and slow rapping style.
It's a pretty simple, dusty and pleasant tape, presenting at the same time some scratched hooks that pay homage to the classics of the past and several interesting variations, with sometimes glossy, disturbing and penetrating sounds: the haunting piano on the dark and somber rhythm of "Sobre", it gives the tone to one of the best excerpts from this record. Recommended for East Coast fans. 7/10.
