Second EP and first project of the year for Milano Constantine, rapper from New York affiliated with DITC.
Skit, then a soulful female sample opens "Big Apple", boom bap with slow hard and pounding drum, jazzy sample, confident energetic delivery of Milano. The MC flows with regular rapping in the following track on a boom bap with slow drum and sample chipmunk soul. Rigz is the first guest of the EP and revives the project in "700 Club": excellent production, light jazzy boom bap, female soul sample looped in the background, good samples, elegant piano, distant and light drum.
On this solid musical carpet, Milano delivers inspired and confident, while Rigz closes the track with a regular, slow, raw and flowing style. Smoke DZA is the latest guest of the edition: disturbing rhythm, dark jazzy samples, slow and pounding drum, Milano Constantine delivers with a good rapping, DZA closes the song with a slow and fragmented style. "No Chaser" is the last song of the tape, good rhythm, good samples, decent delivery of Milano.
The MC affiliated to Diggin' in the Crates Crew places Mr. Wolf's picture on the cover and delivers a short mafia rap project of five short tracks, recommended to East Coast fans. 7/10.
