The boom bap production with midtempo drums, sometimes vibrant and tight, and good melodic jazzy samples, facilitates the slow and smooth delivery of Timothy "Myalansky" Turner, Virginia Beach rapper, Wu-Syndicate member.
The constant presence of the other MC of the duo, Joe Mafia, always excellent with his slow hardcore style, gives other Wu-Syndicate contours, while the guys provide mafioso bars. Among the other guests stands out Shaka Amazulu the 7th in the last track, closes an album of 10 tunes and half an hour of listening.
Overall, the soundscape is very good, and at times excellent as in "Boyz n 'the Hood", where the drum falls downtempo on melodic samples, and in "Fahrenheit", where the producer combines a splendid sax sample with an ethereal female melodic sample in the background, while the lyrics of the Wu-Syndicate are supported by a midtempo drum machine, and the rhythm is allowed to breathe for a minute at the end, rightly.
The cover depicts the Chicago Saint Valentine's Day Massacre of the Irish North Side crime family run by George "Bugs" Moran, who survived the massacre, by the men of Al Capone, who runs the Italian South Side crime family. Sometimes you can find a white "W" in the lower left to symbolize that this is a Killa Beez album. A good one. 7/10.
