Collaborative project between Sacramento-based rapper Dionte Chuuwee Hunter and Los Angeles-based producers DirtyDiggs.
The first cut is opened by a skit, boom bap skeletal, light slow drum, decent sample, lazy syncopated and slow rapper delivery. The second track is short, but qualitatively inferior to the previous one: decent lo-fi beat by the producers, lean and cheap drum machine, lazy, uninspired, unwilling delivery by Chuuwee. The third choice is made by producer Jay Drippa: annoying trap rhythm combined with a lazy execution by the rapper, who builds the worst cut of the tape, until that moment. A DirtyDiggs raw beat follows, marked by the usual lazy delivery.
Jay Drippa returns to provide another forgettable production: poor cheap trap beat, Chuuwee's lifeless delivery makes it look like this grueling tune is twice as long. Easily skippable. "Moor in Store" sees the return of DirtyDiggs: excellent dark rhythm, dark vibes noir in the musical choice, however, the performance of the rapper from Sacramento is very bad. This dude spits out random bars like he's on the same club trap beat as the previous track and wastes a noteworthy beat. The final joint, again produced by the LA duo, is an honest minimal boom bap rhythm, with slow drum, the MC has no energy to deliver worthily.
Made up of 7 songs for a total of 17 minutes, this West Coast EP consists of good music by DirtyDiggs (7), bad music by Jay Drippa (2) and a horrible performance by Chuuwee (2). It seems the guy doesn't want to rap over DirtyDiggs' boom bap skinny rhythms and prefers the random noise of cheap trap beats provided by Jay Drippa. Consequently, the final result is quite poor, absolutely not recommended, 3.5/10.
